Short answer: paste your Markdown above and press Create PDF. The page builds a real PDF with selectable text, re-opens it with pdf.js to confirm the page count, then offers the download. It runs entirely in this tab.
What the output looks like
One column, A4 or US Letter, with 12–25 mm margins. Headings step down in size, code blocks get a bordered grey panel, tables repeat their header row when they break across pages, and every page carries a “page / total” footer. Paragraph spacing follows print conventions rather than the screen.
Where this converter stops
- No CSS. Markdown has no styling layer; the layout you get is the one described above, not a styled preview from another editor.
- No remote assets. Fonts are the PDF standard fonts, and images are only carried over when they are embedded in the document as data: URLs.
- Latin script only. Accented Latin, common punctuation, ₹ (written as “Rs.”) and typographic quotes are handled; Devanagari, CJK and emoji are counted and reported.
Markdown in, PDF out
This is the same document model used by HTML to PDF, so a Markdown file and an HTML file with the same headings produce the same layout. If you need to keep the styling instead, use Markdown to HTML and print from your browser.
