Short answer: fill the employer, employee and the month's earnings and deductions, then download the PDF. Net pay is calculated as earnings minus deductions and written in both figures and words.
What a payslip is used for
A bank wants it for a loan, a landlord wants it with a rent agreement, and a visa application wants three months of them. All of those check the same three things: who the employer is, which month, and what the net pay was. That is why this slip leads with the employer and states the net pay twice.
Keep the numbers honest
A slip that does not match the bank credit is worse than no slip. Enter the figures from the payroll email rather than rounding them, and keep PF and professional tax in the deductions column — those two are what a lender looks for to judge whether the document is real.
